Off the Beaten Track Returns Tonight at 6 PM Eastern

Hello, my Padawans!
It is Tuesday once again, which means it is almost time for another journey through the musical universe with Off the Beaten Track on Jedi Council Radio.
The show begins tonight at 6 PM Eastern, and I have a wonderful collection of music ready for you. As always, the path may twist, turn, wander, double back, and occasionally fly straight through an asteroid field—but that is exactly what makes this show so much fun.
Off the Beaten Track has never been about staying inside one particular genre, decade, mood, or musical category. On any given Tuesday, you might hear rock, pop, new wave, alternative, metal, soul, funk, dance, blues, progressive music, forgotten favorites, deep cuts, familiar classics, and songs you may not have heard in many years.
You may even hear something completely unexpected.
There are no genre limits here.
The whole idea behind Off the Beaten Track is to move beyond the same predictable songs that appear everywhere else. I love playing well-known songs, of course, but I also enjoy finding deeper album tracks, forgotten gems, unusual covers, live performances, overlooked singles, and music that deserves another chance to be heard.
Sometimes a song brings back a memory.
Sometimes it reminds you of a person, a place, or a completely different version of yourself.
Sometimes it is a song you forgot existed until the opening notes begin.
And sometimes it is a song you have never heard before that suddenly becomes one of your new favorites.
That is the magic of radio.
Requests Are Always Welcome
One of my favorite parts of doing this show is hearing from the people who are listening.
I take requests during Off the Beaten Track, and I genuinely enjoy seeing where your musical choices take the show. You can request something that fits the current mood, something completely different, a favorite song, a deep cut, an old memory, or a track you simply believe more people should hear.
No request is too unusual simply because it belongs to a different genre.
That is the whole point.
You never know when your request might create the next great musical detour.
