Hey There My Padawans…

Pull up a chair, grab your favorite beverage, and settle in for a minute.

The S.S. Solwalker is parked in orbit, the studio lights are glowing, Echo-9 is running diagnostics (and probably judging my cable management again), and I figured it was time for a proper captain’s log.

Because a lot has been happening on Jedi Council Radio lately.

If you’ve been riding along with me these past few months, you already know — we’ve traveled through some serious musical galaxies together.

We’ve hit those high-energy rock nights where the guitars were cranked to eleven and the walls practically vibrated. We’ve drifted into deep-cut territory where I dust off songs that haven’t seen daylight since cassette tape days. We’ve danced through beach-party sets, funk grooves, classic anthems, and the kind of tracks that make you stop and go, “Wait… how have I never heard this before?”

That’s my favorite part.

Radio, to me, has never been about just hitting “play.”It’s exploration.

A little archaeology.A little time travel.A little “what happens if I put this song next to THAT song?”

Sometimes it works like magic.Sometimes it’s mad scientist energy in the lab. Both are fun.

And honestly? That’s the whole spirit of DJ Jedi.

Somewhere along the way this stopped being just a show and started feeling like a starship.

Every broadcast is a launch.Every playlist is a star chart.Every one of you listening out there is another friendly signal blinking back through the dark.

Echo-9 keeps the systems stable.I steer the tunes. We explore the strange new worlds of sound together.

Very Starfleet. Very nerdy. Zero regrets.

Looking ahead, I’ve got some fun stuff cooking in the engine room.

More themed sets.More unexpected deep dives.A few surprise genre hops. Some brand-new comedy mini-features and weird little audio experiments. And of course… plenty of those “where did you even FIND this song?” moments.

Because if we’re not being curious, we’re not really exploring.

And where’s the fun in safe playlists?

Music should surprise you a little.Make you laugh.Make you remember something you forgot.Make you dance around the room like nobody’s watching (even if Echo-9 definitely is).

At the end of the day, this whole project is about joy.

Good songs.Good people.Good vibes drifting through the cosmos.

So thanks for being part of this strange, wonderful crew with me. Whether you’ve been here since day one or you just found the signal last week, you’re officially part of the Jedi Council Radio family now.

Strap in. More adventures ahead.

And as always…
