A Note to My Padawans 💜Building Jedi Council Radio, One Step at a Time

Hey Padawans,

I wanted to take a moment to talk to you directly — not as a DJ voice behind the booth, but as the very real human trying to build something meaningful under the banner of Jedi Council Radio.

Jedi Council Radio isn’t just a radio station to me. It’s an idea, a community, a creative home, and a long-term dream that’s slowly, patiently being brought to life. It’s a place for music without walls, shows that take chances, laughter mixed with sincerity, and that feeling you get when you realize you’re not alone in loving the weird, the deep, the joyful, and the off-the-beaten-track.

There’s a lot I’m trying to get off the ground.

I’ve got radio shows, special themed sets, DJ Lisa projects, DJ Jedi projects, comedy bits, intros, community anthems, Camelot vibes, late-night reflection music, and all kinds of ideas that I genuinely believe could make people smile, dance, think, or just feel seen for a little while. I want this station to feel alive — like a place you come back to because it feels like family, not because it’s chasing trends.

The honest truth is this: the ideas are there. The passion is there. What’s hard to find sometimes is time and resources.

Life has appointments. Life has responsibilities. Life has days where energy is limited. And right now, Jedi Council Radio is something I build between all of that — late at night, early mornings, and whenever I can carve out space to create. I don’t have a big budget. I don’t have fancy gear yet. I don’t even have the DAW I’d really like to be using.

But I do have determination.

I want a proper DAW, better audio tools, smoother production, cleaner transitions, more polished intros, and the ability to turn all these ideas into something that sounds as good as it feels. None of this is impossible — it’s just slow going when funds are tight and progress has to happen inch by inch.

That’s where I want to gently ask for help.

I’ve set up a Buy Me a Coffee link ( https://buymeacoffee.com/djjedi828h) as a way for people who enjoy what I’m doing to support the station in a very real, very practical way. I’m not asking for big money. Truly. Even $1 or $2 helps more than you might think.

Those small contributions add up to:

  • software licenses

  • audio tools

  • hosting costs

  • time I can justify setting aside to focus on radio instead of constantly juggling

Supporting Jedi Council Radio isn’t about buying content — it’s about helping build it. It’s about saying, “I like this space. I want it to exist.” Every little bit makes it easier for me to keep pushing forward, refining the sound, and expanding what we can do together.

If you can’t contribute financially, that’s okay too. Listening, sharing, showing up for shows, sending messages, and being part of the community matters just as much. This has always been about connection first.

I’m not giving up on this. Not even close.I’m just building it the honest way — slowly, thoughtfully, and with as much heart as I can put into it.

Thank you for being Padawans.Thank you for believing in the journey. And thank you for walking the long road with me.

With gratitude and music,

DJ Jedi 🎧✨
