Every now and then even the captain of a starship has to step away from the controls for a moment. This week is one of those times.

There will be no Off the Beaten Track this Tuesday as I’ve got a few doctor’s appointments that need my attention. Nothing dramatic — just life doing what life does and reminding us that sometimes we have to pause the music for a moment so we can come back stronger.

But fear not, my Padawans — the signal is only going quiet briefly.

We will be returning the very next week on Tuesday, March 17th — St. Patrick’s Day! And that feels like a pretty perfect day to bring the show back. You never quite know where the musical road will lead on Off the Beaten Track, but you can bet the journey will be full of great songs, unexpected turns, and that wonderful sense of discovery we all love.
